SEYMOUR, CT: Shirley (Stephen) Zamoic age 79 of Seymour entered into peaceful rest Sept. 15, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Zamoic. She was born in Stratford on March 20, 1932, daughter of the late Roland and Isabell (Hyde) Stephen. She id survived by her daughter Carol Slusarski and her husband Steve of Torrington, a son, James Zamoic and his wife Mary of Seymour, two grandchildren, Corelyn Slusarski and Nicolas Slusarski and his wife Amanda, two step-grandchildren, Leon and Katy Rose Lewandowski, three brothers, William, David, and Richard Stephen. She was predeceased by her son Edward Zamoic, Jr.

Shirley was an avid vegetable and flower gardener who loved playing Bingo, but most especially being with her grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Saturday September 24th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Cemetery, Cedar St. Seymour. There are no calling hours. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour is entrusted with the arrangements.
