Obituary for Stephen Hubyk Sr.

Stephen  Hubyk Sr.
SEYMOUR, CT: Stephen Hubyk, Sr., age 90 of Seymour entered peaceful rest on November 27, 2016; he was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (Kershaw) Hubyk. Mr. Hubyk was born in Derby on March 4, 1926, son of the late Michael and Tessie (Macimiak)Hubyk. Stephen was retired from the Kerite Co., Seymour where he worked for over 40 years. He was a WW II U.S. Army Veteran serving with the 3rd Army, 90th Infantry Division. He was a past member of the Russian - American Club.

Mr. Hubyk leaves his loving family including, his son, Stephen Hubyk and his wife Edna of Seymour, and his daughter, Cheryl Klapcik and her husband John, Sr. of Ansonia, his sisters, Martha Makl and Stephney Hubyk both of Oxford, his grandchildren, Krystle Hubyk and John Klapcik, Jr. His brothers, Michael and Ignace predeceased him.

Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. Funeral Services in celebration of Stephen's life will immediately follow at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Interment with full Military Honors will be in Trinity Cemetery, Seymour.
