Evelyn “Honey” Wilder, age 87, of Seymour, entered peaceful rest on Thursday, July 28, 2016 in Griffin Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on January 15, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Evelyn Kimes. A retired postal worker, “Honey” loved birds, old movies and gardening. Survivors include family and friends, Charlene Gallant and her husband Phillip and their children, John and Damon; son-in-law, Mark McCabe; special friends, Jim Ward and his wife Mauree, Stephanie, Ron & Boo Vorio, Don Jones and his wife Joanne, Virginia Kisson as well as her beloved cat Calvin. She was predeceased by her former husband Alva Wilder, and her daughter Mari Wilder. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 11:00 am in Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Relatives and friends may greet the family Tuesday morning from 9:30 am until the time of services. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery, Seymour.
