Obituary for Paul Quoka

Seymour, CT: Paul Quoka, age 84, of First Avenue entered into rest on
August 30, 2002 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Helen Megura Quoka. Mr. Quoka was born in Seymour, July 29, 1918 son of the late Panko and Ester Zsyko Kwoka. Mr. Quoka was a life long resident of Seymour. He was the co-founder of Oxford Paint and Hardware, Oxford, which was his life’s passion; he retired in 1982. Paul was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of David S. Miles Post 174 American Legion, Oxford.
Paul leaves his loving family including three sons, Michael Quoka and his wife, Linda, John Quoka and his wife, Karen, and Al Quoka, all of Oxford and one daughter, Paula Quoka of Derby. 1 brother Michael Kwoka of Oxford and a sister Mary Baktis of Shelton. He also leaves his two cherished granddaughters, Stacey Quoka and Pamela Quoka both of Oxford.
He was pre-deceased by his brothers John and Phil Kwoka and a sister,
Anna Balko.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, at 11:00 am in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be in the Three Saint’s Cemetery, Derby with Military Honors. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home Monday between 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
