Obituary for Alexander Zubrick

SEYMOUR, CT: Alexander John Zubrick, 86 of Rocky Glen, entered into peaceful rest August 3, 2003 at the Shady Knoll Health Center; he was the beloved husband of Estelle (Korpalski) Zubrick. Mr. Zubrick was born November 5, 1916 in New Haven, son of the late John and Mary (Poproski) Zubrick. He was a Seymour resident for more than sixty years. Alexander was a retired plumber from the former Bridgeport Brass Co., in Seymour. He was a WW II U.S. Air Force Veteran and served in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Mr. Zubrick was a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Besides his beloved wife Estelle, he leaves several loving nieces and nephews. His son Ronald Zubrick predeceased him.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour, to the Church of the Good Shepherd where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment with full Military Honors will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday (TODAY) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial gifts may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.
