Mr. George C. Nardi, age 84, of Southbury, beloved husband of the late Doris (Marciano) Nardi, entered peaceful rest on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his home.

He was born on August 27, 1929 in Derby and was the son of the late George A. and Assunta (Valeria) Nardi. Mr. Nardi was a U. S. Air Force veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a supervisor at Sikorsky Aircraft for 33 years before his retirement. He was an avid reader and will be missed by his little dog, Chewy.

Mr. Nardi is survived by his three daughters, Carla Osiecki of Newville, PA, Lisa Nardi of Southbury and Nancy Stefanko of Canterbury, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Judy LaRocco of Derby and Sue Yazluk of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
