To the Careddu family: We are both sorry to hear of your loss. We both have often thought about and talked about our times with our pal "Marie". We will miss your Mom's physical presence, but we will never forget the great memories of lots of wonderful times with both your Mom and your Dad. She is now at peace in a better place. Mrs. Careddu was one of the most beautiful and sweet person you every want to meet what I remember about her was that she loved the Italian club, making those Italian meals, loving her family children, grandchildren, great grand children daughter in laws and son in law, through ever good and bad situation,and teaching me and Sue how to make those delicious Italian Knot cookies and other cookies I can't remember the names for. Sue, I know what you are going through as you know I lost my mother just in August and I am not going to tell you it is going to be easy let me just say this God knows best for our mothers and loved ones she and my mother have fought a good fight for many years with their health. God bless and keep in touch.

Marie loved life, her family and her friends, for the last fifteen years Mom fought very hard against life's knocking end, but as we all know and understand life ends but not without a hard struggle. Marie's last few months and days where the toughest she faced and she worked very hard to hold on to her life and family, but it is now time for her to rest, thank you for loving, caring, teaching and guiding us over the years. Thank you for all the lessons of life you shared with us, all the understanding you gave us and all of the love anyone can share. Mom thank you for the smiles you gave us all during your life, even when it was very hard. Mom thank you for all the great cooking lessons, especially the large meatballs (softball size) which was everyone's favorite and a meal for two, not saying that your large Raviolis were not a close second the best non Italian cook I have ever known. Mom thank you for your emotional spirit, it has made me a better man. Rest in peace you will be in my heart and life always. Jesus bring my mother to you, have her gather with family and friends to enjoy your love and greatness forever. Your Loving Son Alan
