Obituary for Susan C. Fitzpatrick (Candee)
SHELTON: Susan (Critchett) Fitzpatrick, age 66 of Shelton, entered peaceful rest on February 29, 2020 in Griffin Hospital, Derby. Born in Derby on March 21, 1953, she was the daughter of the late George and Esther (Semon) Candee. A retired accountant for NASDAQ, Susan was a hard worker who loved her job. She truly loved animals (especially cats), vacationing at Dunmore Lake (VT), collecting antiques, reading a variety of novels, and following her favorite teams; the NY Yankees and the UCONN Huskies.
Survivors include her loving brother, James Candee and his wife Terry of FL; cherished niece, Carlynn (Petunia) Candee of CO; as well as sisters-in-law, Mary Critchett of Seymour, and Joan Candee of Wallingford. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frank Critchett and George Candee, Jr.
A Memorial Service in her honor will take place on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Family and friends may greet the family Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. The family will host a repast after services, location TBA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory can be made to the ASPCA
