My fondest memory of Mr. Lopez was of him as captain of the motor boat on the lake.With his faithful dog Penny at his heels he would head down to the dock for a fuel and safety check of the boat and ski equipment.He would take Bunny waterskiing and any other kid around who wanted to go for a ride including often the nieghborhood Denise the Menance ( Markie) from across the lake and me. He would expertly handle the boat ,watch Bunny ski and pick up the extra ski when Bunny went onto one ski.He was always smiling and enjoying his daughter and the lake.Thanks for the memories.
