For My Aunt who will always carry the nickname of "Sparkley".
From when I was around 4 or 5 years old my Aunt Betty was anointed with that nickname.
For me it fit her perfectly, right up until her last years, seeing her at her rehab in Waterbury, just before her move to Ossipee and at her 90th birthday there. She reaffirmed, for me, that this special name was a right choice.
Aunt Betty had bright and sparkling blue eyes and an inviting personality always in curiosity mode! She would pepper you with questions to catch up with you and would share in kind her personal adventures. There was a lovely warmth to her and always hugs which she craved in return. She was my Dad's sister and a soul that will be very much missed.. We love you...Linda and Paul too!!
