– John “Jack” E. Pedersen, age 75 of Naugatuck, entered peaceful rest on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in the Lutheran Home of Southbury. Born in New Rochelle, NY, on April 3, 1942, he was a son of the late Egedius and Gladys (Merrit) Pedersen. A retired machinist for American Brass with 43 years of service, Jack enjoyed fishing and especially spending time with is grandchildren. Survivors include his beloved children, Regina Pedersen of Middlebury, Dawn Ericson and her husband Steve of Woodbury, Eric Pedersen and his wife Katie of CO, Joel Pedersen of CO, Benay Pastore and her husband Paul of Wolcott; 12 adored grandchildren, Megan, Alex, Morgan, Ryan, Matthew, Lucas, Benjamin, Jacob, Andrea, Kari Ione, James and Thomasina; 2 cherished great grandchildren, Joseph and Meredith, as well as many nieces and nephews and his two kitten companions, Jewel and Nina. Mr. Pedersen was predeceased by his sisters, Gaye Farrow, Faye DeFeo and Ellen Neubaum, and two grandsons, Mitchell and Zachary Pedersen. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 7 pm in the Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Calling hours will take place from 5 pm until the time of services. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
