SEYMOUR, CT: Edward L. Hilton, age 95 of Seymour, he entered peaceful rest on November 13, 2017 at Masonicare, Wallingford; he was the beloved husband of 75 years to Ena E. (Bubar) Hilton. Mr. Hilton was born March 27, 1922 in St. Albans, ME, son of the late Alton and Erma (Berry) Hilton. Edward was a retired Master Carpenter having worked mostly in the Boston area. He loved vegetable gardening and working in his orchard. Edward also enjoyed reading, history, and watching documentaries.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Hilton leave's his loving family including his daughter, Ellen Penchuk (Alexander) of Seymour, his grandchildren, Evan Penchuk (Jill Kryvonis), Larissa Coy (Andrew), and Jared Penchuk, his two great grandsons, Andrew and Dayne Coy, a niece and a nephew. He also leaves his beloved dog Misty.

Calling Hours are Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Memorial Service in celebration of Edward's life will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later time.
