Wonderful mother and loving wife, Audrey Griffin Pearson, went home to be with her loved ones on May 3, 2017 in Ruskin FL after a long illness. Born on February 8, 1927, Audrey was known for her beautiful smile and warm personality. As a girl, Audrey attended the Cathedral School of Saint Mary’s in Garden City Long Island where she played lacrosse, field hockey, and her favorite, basketball. She then attended William Smith College in Geneva NY and graduated with a degree in Biology. Soon after graduation from college, Audrey married Robert D. Pearson of Seymour, CT. Audrey and Bob celebrated 56 years of marriage together and lived on Candlewood Lake in Brookfield, CT. Later, Audrey resided in Oxford, CT and Valrico, FL

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, William H and Gertrude E Griffin of Mineola NY, and her husband Robert. She leaves behind four children, 9 grandchildren ,and 6 great grandchildren. They are: Dr. Mark Pearson of Philadelphia, PA, Joanne Pearson Lamothe of Riverview FL, and Nancy J Pearson of Brookfield CT and Marcia Crocetto of Stanton, MI. Grandchildren are: Ali Pearson, Jordan(Poala) Pearson, Leah Crocetto, Vanessa Crocetto, Catherine (Andrew) Visokay, Jessica Crocetto, Calyn (Larry)Smith, Marlee (Justin) George, and Claire Petri. Great grandchildren are: Victoria Smith, Larry Smith, Noah Smith, Zoe Smith, Cooper George, and Giuliana Visokay.

A memorial service for Audrey will be held at Cornerstone Assembly of God, Oxford CT on August 3, 2017 directly at 10 am. Burial will take place at the Seymour Congregational Church Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Ralph Hull Funeral Home 161 W. Church St., Seymour CT.
