Obituary for Louis A. Esposito

Louis A. Esposito, age 82 of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 from a broken heart after recently losing the love of his life, Vivian (Nuzzo) Esposito. Born in Bridgeport on January 26, 1935, he was a son of the late Vincenzo and Philomena (Leonetti) Esposito. A retired traffic manager for Jenkins Valves (Bridgeport) for over 31 years, Louis enjoyed bingo and spending time with his family. A loving, kind, hard-working dad and grandpa, Lou will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his cherished daughters, Phyllis Esposito-Doyen and her fiancé Vinnie Donato, Vivian Hutman and her husband Guy, and Louisa Fakhoury and her husband Ziad; six adored grandchildren, Louisa O’Grady and her husband John, Alyssa Doyen, Rachel Walsh and her husband Mike, Alex Hutman, Christina Fakhoury and her fiancé Patrick Buturla, and Alex Fakhoury, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his beloved wife of 61 years, he was predeceased by his siblings, Lena Raucci, Millie Mezzo, James Esposito, and Rachel Stabile. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. DIRECTLY in St. Margaret’s Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport. There are no calling hours, and the interment celebrating Louis and Vivian’s life together will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford, at a date to be determined.
