WATERBURY - Lea Altieri, age 34 of Waterbury, entered peaceful rest on Monday, March 21, 2016 in Waterbury Hospital. Born in Torrington on September 4, 1981, she was a beloved daughter of the late Donna-Lee (Gerner) Altieri and Thomas A. Altieri of Beacon Falls.
A free spirit and artist who loved animals, Lea was a diva who and had a keen sense of fashion.
In addition to her father, survivors include her cherished son, Aiden; her siblings, Thomas Altieri and his wife Catherine of Seymour, Lacey Altieri of Meriden, Sonia Hanson of Derby, and Cynthia Parker and her husband Robert K of Southbury; as well as her companion, John Carusello.
A Memorial Mass celebrating Lea’s life will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 1 pm DIRECTLY in Seymour United Methodist Church, 90 Pearl St., Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
