WATERBURY and NAUGATUCK, CT: John Evenski, age 57 of Waterbury, formerly of Naugatuck and Seymour entered peaceful rest on January 30, 2016 at the Griffin Hospital, Derby with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 25 years to Cynthia (Plisko) Evenski. Mr. Evenski was born October 4, 1958 in Derby, son of the late Zigmont and Gladys (Swirski) Evenski. John worked as a Custodian at Great Oak School, Oxford for the past 30 years. He also tended bar at local establishments. John was a New England Patriots and UCONN Women's Basketball fan. He will be remembered fondly for his way of caring for others, especially his daughters. In addition to his wife, John leaves his loving family including his daughters Molly and Rebecca Evenski, a brother, Mark Evenski of New Haven, a sister, Maureen Baldino of Bethany, and his nieces and nephews, Victoria, Michael, Sarah, Peter, Melissa, and Lauren. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Funeral Service in celebration of John's life will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m.
