Life Story for Etolo Anthony "Chef" Gramolini

SEYMOUR, CT: Etolo Anthony "Chef" Gramolini, age 92 entered peaceful rest on November 12, 2015 at Shady Knoll Health Center; he was the beloved husband of Nicoline (Petric) Gramolini. Mr. Gramolini was born May 25, 1923 in Derby, son of the late Nazzareno and Mary (Gasparelli) Gramolini. Etolo was a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran, and also served in the Naval Reserves. He was a retired Mold Maker, and was the owner and operator of Uni-Mite in Shelton; he also retired from the BIC Corp., and had worked for various other companies during his career. Mr. Gramolini was a communicant of the Church of the Good Shepherd; he was a member of Emil Senger, Post 10, American Legion. Etolo was an accomplished musician, he played saxophone and clarinet with the U.S. Navy Band, and with the former Joe Menna's Nine Masters of Rhythm Band. Chef was an avid golfer, a N.Y. Yankees fan and UCONN Women's Basketball fan. He enjoyed hunting and was a member and Past President of the Riverside Fish and Game Club, Derby. Etolo was also an accomplished artist working in oil painting and charcoals.

Mr. Gramolini leaves his loving family including his son, Glenn Gramolini and his wife Donna L. of Ansonia, and his daughter, Gloria Gramolini of West Haven, his grandchildren, Paul, Jenna, James, Dana, Jr., and Hayden, and a sister-in-law, Gloria Gramolini of Seymour. His son, Dana and daughter, Donna J. predeceased him.

Calling Hours will be Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. Funeral services in celebration of Etolo's life will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment with full Military Honors will follow in Mt.
