Obituary for Lynn ""Mama Lynn"" Plaskon (Voltz)

PROSPECT CT – Lynn C. Plaskon, (formally known as Lynn Sekellick) beloved wife of John Plaskon, Prospect, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 19, 2015 in her home surrounded by family. Born in Camden, New Jersey on July 28, 1963, she is the daughter of Joan Voltz, Marlton, NJ and the late William Voltz. Lynn was a Special Ed teacher at Shelton Intermediate School, and was very active in Pop Warner. She had a love for animals especially dogs, horses, nature and history. She was a mother to all calling her, “Mama Lynn”. She put a smile on everyone’s face and took everyone under her wings. Celebrate her life participating in Random Acts of Kindness. In addition to her mother and husband, survivors include her loving children, Jessica, Thomas and Morgan Sekellick; step-children, John W., Dan, and Roxanne Plaskon, and Ashley DeBarber; and two cherished grandchildren, Abel Plaskon and Eli Lango. She was pre-deceased by her younger sister Kim Voltz and younger brother William Voltz, III. A Memorial Gathering in Celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 2pm to 6pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter and to Special Olympics, 2666 State Street #1, Hamden, CT 06517.
