SEYMOUR, CT: Helen Jane Yolinski, age 94 of Seymour, entered peaceful rest on September 24th, 2015 at Bishop Wicke Health Care, Shelton; she was the beloved wife of the late Edward Yolinski. Mrs. Yolinski was born August 1, 1921 in Ansonia, daughter of the late John and Anna Mae (Strubbe) Sears. She was a member of the River Valley Baptist Church, Ansonia, where she also played the organ, and taught Religious Education. Helen was an accomplished artist and painter.
Helen leaves her loving family including her sons, Gerald Colley of Naugatuck, Charles Colley of Seymour, and Lee Colley of Fillmore, NY; her daughters, Kothy Hafersat of Oxford, Lee Heller of Seymour, Janice Harvell in CO, Sandra Salomon of Hazlehurst, GA, Luanne Welwood in CO; her brother, Raymond Sears of Fillmore, NY 16 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 6 other siblings.
Calling Hours are Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St., Seymour. A Funeral Service in celebration of Helen's life will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Mountain Meadows Cemetery.
