SEYMOUR, CT: Joyce C. Urick, age 87 of Seymour entered peaceful rest April 24, 2014 at Gardner Heights Health Center, Shelton; she was the beloved wife of the late Stephen J. Urick. Mrs. Urick was born August 14, 1926 in Derby, daughter of the late Myron and Erma (Douillet) Bradshaw. She was a retired Machinist from the Waterman Bic Co., formerly in Seymour. Joyce was a member of the Seymour Evangelical Baptist Church; she enjoyed doing crafts and making bead jewelry.
Mrs. Urick leaves her loving family including her brother, Myron Bradshaw, Jr. of Seymour,her sisters, Lorraine MacLean of Naugatuck, and Karen Hammond of Peachtree City, GA and several nieces and nephews. Her siblings, Arthur Bradshaw, and Barbara Wilenski predeceased her.
Calling Hours will be Sunday from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour. A Funeral Service in celebration of Joyce's life will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
