WATERBURY, CT: Arthur C. "Tad" Young, Jr., age 45 of Waterbury, formerly of Beacon Falls and Seymour, entered into peaceful rest March 3, 2013 in Waterbury. Mr. Young was born December 27, 1967 in Derby, son of Alice W. (West) Young of Oxford, and the late Arthur C. Young, Sr. He worked in various manufacturing companies throughout the Valley. Tad enjoyed horseback riding, hiking, camping and was an all around outdoorsman; he also liked gadgets of all sorts and was considered a "gadget freak" especially with remote controlled items. Arthur also participated in local Renaissance Fairs, and could be seen there wearing his suit of armor.

In addition to his mother, Arthur leaves a son, Tyler Young of Beacon Falls, two daughters, Colleen Young of Torrington, and Loryn Young of Beacon Falls, two sisters, Colleen Young of Waterbury, and Kathleen Young of Seymour, and two grandchildren, Kyle Young and Jaden Hoffman, a niece, Kaylee Anderson of Oxford, and a nephew, Evan Anderson of Seymour.

All services are private. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church Street, Seymour is entrusted with the arrangements.
