Mr. Michael B. Ormsby, age 60, beloved husband of 34 years to Anna Maria (Giannini) Ormsby of Seymour and formerly of Bridgeport passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Ormsby was born in Toronto, Canada on July 12, 1951 and was the son of Robert Ormsby of Seymour and the late Rhoda (Geller) Ormsby. He worked in the IT Department at Cablevision and prior was a teacher at Branford Hall. Mr. Ormsby will always be remembered as a gentle and quiet man. He was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Celtics fan. His passion was for music and computers and he loved animals, especially his cat kids, Tangerine, Penny and Marty.

In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves two loving children, Robert Ormsby and his wife Katica of Derby and Leah Bolduc and her husband Bob of Naugatuck and two grandchildren, Kyle and Rachel. He also leaves two sisters, Morlee Ormsby-Kudola of Shelton and Dianne Pariello of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Family and friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
